Morten Kirchheiner
My name is Morten Kirchheiner. I was born in 1966 and I’ve been working with shipping and chartering since 1984 in both Flensburg, Bremen, Copenhagen and now Aarhus. I live in Odder with my wife and two sons and in my spare time I enjoy mountain biking and I swim every day – often training for open-water races. I like challenging myself and I’ve completed six marathons and two half-Iron man’s when my knees were still perfect.
On the job I love making things happen and finding solutions to complex problems. And problems often happen – it’s just like that when you are working with ships that are challenged with different seasons, wind and weather! But staying connected with all the different partners and clients helps us keep the edge and get the best out of every situation.

Jon Kristensen
I applied for an apprenticeship in April 2017 and received office training with a speciality in shipping the following years. Jon attended Aarhus Business College with an adventure abroad at Austin Community College, Texas, studying language and LEAN and learning about different cultures.
During my apprenticeship I’ve primarily dealt with Agency. Now I only work in chartering and operations.

Born in 1993 I spent my childhood on a farm in West Jutland with dairy cows. I attended Senior High School in Skive and studied IT on Aarhus University before joining the shipping industry.
During my sabbatical year I travelled around Asia and Central America. I enjoy travelling, and I also value the importance of understanding very different cultures both as a person and as a professional. Helping people in a way they appreciate is always a priority for me.
I live in Brabrand west of Aarhus and spend most of my free time playing sports, rooting for the local team, hunting and snowboarding in the winter. I have a lot of different interests, and I also enjoy relaxing with friends and family or playing PC.
A good day on the job is one where we’ve successfully helped our clients achieve their goal and solved any problem that might occur. In that way, not two days are alike in the shipping industry.
